Adventures at the Library
Last week we took all the kids to the library. As this was new to the Joker and the Bear, the kids were pretty excited. They love books, and they love to get out of the house.
What they didn’t realize is that our local library has toys. And boy do our kids love toys, especially if they’re toys they haven’t played with before.
The Joker found and fell in love with one of those wooden toys that you push the shapes back and forth. I realized none of our kids have ever seen or played with one before. Sad.
The Bear loves trucks. At home he, along with the Princess, love to push trucks all around the house. So when he found a truck and an abandoned ledge you know what happened.
And again with one sister…
And again with another sister…
And then because she could, the Joker started pushing chairs around…
Then the fun ended. The Bear came up to me and told me he had a poop. So we cleaned up our mess (boy, can those kids make a huge mess in a short amount of time), and went home.

Next time, I’m going on a Piggins hunt.
Sad to say but I have no idea what you’re talking about..
Delightful! Piggins is cool
Piggins, the pig-butler who solves mysteries!
That makes sense!
in the employ of a family of foxes of course
-great art (it may have been my earliest influence in design)
I must admit that “Piggins” was more your series than mine — I was always more partial to Commander Toad. And you’re right — it’s for the art in particular that I’m looking forward to revisiting the books.
