Today marks our one year blog-a-versary. I can’t believe it’s been a year!

This was my first post, all about the Princess.

And this was my first food post. I would say don’t look at the pictures, but it’s kind of funny! (Not that I’m good at taking food pictures, by any means, but, you know.)

Alright, onto the giveaway.

A while ago I bought a Ninja. The blender I had was going kaput. Every time I tried to make a smoothie, it would spit nasty old smoothie runoff from the bottom of the blender at me. I was at the point that if I wanted to make a smoothie, or a coffee frappe I had to wear an apron. Not good. So, I looked around online to see what we could afford, and what I could go out and buy pronto.

In comes the Ninja.

Best thing ever! Seriously. You throw in whatever you want blended (smoothie stuff, or coffee ice cubes with milk and chocolate, malt stuff, pretty much anything), and your stuff is blended immediately and with no fuss. Just writing about this makes me want to go make something. I really, really love it.

So, that’s what we’re giving away today, a Ninja Frozen Treat and Drink Maker.

    My all time favorite thing about summer is the Rain! The wind blowing through your hair when you drive. The moments when you can forget all your cares. Lastly…people just seem to be nicer in the summertime!

    There are so many things I like about summertime – paddling a canoe, fireflies, going out for ice cream, more daylight, family get-togethers, and just enjoying the outdoors! This year, I went to my first drive-in movie, and that was a blast!

    My favorite thing about summer? Hmmm….probably watching my kids catch fireflys! And smores…and bonfires…I could go on and on! I already follow you on twitter like you on facebook and am subscribed to you! :)

    My favorite thing about summer is anything involving the LAKE! Boating, tubing, swimming, water volleyball, fishing, ahh! And also fireworks. It’s even better watching fireworks from the boat on the lake!

    I was reflecting that one of my favorite things about summer, is evening swimming on a glassy still lake. I wish I took the opportunity to do it more. It’s so peaceful and serene swimming on a glassy lake at dusk.

    I love the idea about this giveaway. I am in desperate need for a new blender so even if I don’t win, I may just try out the Ninja. I also have add, I LOVE reading this blog. You do a great job, it’s entertaining to read and very inspirational. How do you have time to cook all that food, wash those dishes, take care of the kids and house and still have your sanity? Great job. :)
